A place we stopped at on the way back from Melbourne. Not much to say really. Nothing of interest here, good service at the service station where we re-fuelled and stretched our legs.

An interesting old town on the Yass River, Yass has many old buildings and cottages of historical interest. The Burrinjuck State Recreation Area ( 54kms sw) is a fine place for bushwalking, swimming and water sports.

A place to stop when heading down to Melbourne and you need to re-fuel. Didn\'t really think much of the place so we kept on driving...

Cam - March 2006
Just off the Hwy from Sydney to Melbourne, mainly a place to stop and take a break. Although if there head to the surrounding area between Yass and Tumut, particularly Wee Jasper and the national park. Nice walks and very relaxing.
